<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the width of a front panel in a tape deck by inserting a tape cassette to an inserting port with a lid as a side direction, canceling the lock of the lid by the slide of a slider and setting the tape cassette to a tape driving mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A holder 7 is provided to pull into a housing while crimping the tape cassette, which is inserted from the cassette inserting port with the lid as a side surface, and a slider opening and closing member 10 is provided to be moved rectangularly to the moving direction of the holder 7 and to move the slider. Then, the holder 7 and slider opening and closing member 10 is provided on the housing. Then, this housing is moved in a vertical direction and the tape cassette is set to the tape driving mechanism. Thus, a length in the breadth-wise direction of the inserting port is shortened and the area of the front panel of the tape deck can be reduced. Otherwise, a setting area for a handle, a push button and a display device can be increased.</p> |
