A steering linkage system for motor vehicles is described, in which a central track rod (1, 1') is actuated by means of a steering lever (3) and lead to a steering guide lever (4). For this purpose, the steering lever (3) is connected to the central track rod (1, 1') via a ball-and-socket joint (2). The steering guide lever (4) has an articulated connection (5) to the central track rod (1, 1'). It consists of two ball-and-socket joints (7, 8, 8') which are connected via a bearing pin (10) which acts as pivot axis. A third ball-and-socket joint (6, 6') which, like the ball-and-socket joint (7), is arranged on the steering guide lever (4) is connected to the ball-and-socket joint (8, 8') via a coupling rod (9, 9'). The central track rod (1, 1') is permanently arranged on the bearing pin (10). The articulated connection (5) thus produces a stable arrangement in the case of torsional stressing of the central track rod (1, 1'). Inaccuracies, for example of the angular position of the steering guide lever (4), arising from production and tolerance reasons are thus compensated. <IMAGE>
