In the case of an in/out high-shelving store device having a plurality of shelving channels at one level with a plurality of channel levels situated one above the other with material handling gear units assigned to them, a solution is to be produced by means of which access to individual channels is made quicker, both for loading and for removal, while at the same time the design of the material handling gear in question is simplified. This is achieved in that there is arranged on the end face of each channel (2) level (3) a path (4) along which a distributing vehicle (5) can move and in that a stationary lift (6) is provided for acting on the distributing vehicle (5) and/or the paths (4) of the various levels. <IMAGE>
