Hit indication for ball games

To achieve an accurate hit indication in ball games, the ball is provided with an electrically conductive surface. For this purpose, the ball is coated with a flexible metal layer or a conductor network or an electrically conductive plastic, or a conductor (wire) is incorporated into the surface covering, for example the layer of felt, of the ball. Two separate conductor tracks of metal or electrically conductive plastic, which engage in each other in a comb-like manner, are set into the permanently installed or transportable impact area - such as a court, boundary lines, out area and net. Upon contact of the conductive ball, these conductor tracks are electrically connected, and a circuit is thus closed. This signal is evaluated electronically by an amplifier circuit with connected storage circuit or by a computer with a corresponding program and indicated optically or acoustically, or the hits are automatically counted.
