The pressure maintenance arrangement is used in a heating system. It has a rotationally variable pressure maintenance pump without a feed control using the principle of dynamic pressure balance in which the pump (3) has no return flow element. The pressure control unit is coupled directly to the rotational speed positioner of the pump and a blocking valve (4) is arranged in the pump suction or pressure pipe which comes into operation on a failure of the drive energy for the pump. USE/ADVANTAGE - Pressure maintenance system for a heating network which reduces costs but ensures safe and reliable operation.
