The circuit includes an OP amplifier (OP1) for comparing output signal from a photocoupler for detecting external control signal with reference voltage (VR), a transistor (TR6) conducted when voltage level of point A is lower than reference voltage so that a photocoupler (PC2) is drived, a diode (D1) for removing time constant caused by R1 and C1 when power transistor is in cutoff state, and diodes (D2, D3) for passing output signal of trnasistor (T2) to transistors (T3-T5) and the OP amplifier (OP1)
