<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to apply binding agent to the back surface of a bracket and attach it to a predetermined position of a tooth surface by providing catching members on the outer side of a main body of a U-shaped bracket holder so as to pick up the U-shaped bracket holder part of a form which is easy to be picked up by means of forceps to carry it up together with the bracket. CONSTITUTION:For a U-shaped bracket holder 1, a main body 10 of the bracket holder is of a U-letter form, and consists of two parallel parts 11, their ends 12, a connecting part 13 and an open part 14. A distance B between the parallel parts 11, 11 of the holder 1 is proper for a width of trunk parts 4, 4 under wings of a bracket 2, and a height H of the parallel parts 11 is of a proper form to the height of the trunk parts 4 under the wings, so the U-shaped bracket holder 1 can hold the bracket 2 stably for installation. It is desirable that an outer width W of the holder 1 is larger than the width of the wing 3. Because the side surfaces of the holder 1 is flat, it is easy to be picked up by means of forceps, and the installed bracket 2 can be taken up together, where binding agent 9 is applied to a base surface 15 of the bracket 2, thereby it can be applied and attached to a tooth surface 8.</p> |
