PURPOSE:To smoothly start by controlling a brushless motor so as to displace the phase of a winding changeable in the same phase on changeover. CONSTITUTION:Windings u1, u2 are connected in series with a U phase, windings v1, v2 with a V phase and windings w1, w2 with a W phase respectively, and each phase U, V, W is connected at a neutral point N. Torque is output by the on-stationary windings u2, v2, w2 at the stationary time while the combined torque of the on-stationary windings u2, v2, w2 and on-start additional windings u1, v1, w1 connected in series with these windings is output at the time of start. A brushless motor is controlled so that the phase of the windings u1, u2, v1, v2, w1, w2 in each phase U, V, W differs on the changeover of the windings u1, v1, w1, u2, v2, w2 at the time of the start and from the time of the start to the stationary time. An electrical angel of 2 deg.-10 deg. is preferable as the displacement of the phase. Accordingly, the brushless motor can be started smoothly. |
