PURPOSE:To obtain high modulus, dimension stability, fatigue resistance, the peeling resistance on the interface with resin and the heat resistance in resin by twisting and forming the composite fiber having the specified content of the core component made of polyester, strength, elongation, initial tension resistance and specified dry heat shrinkage factor. CONSTITUTION:The polyester core component of composite fiber has the content of 30-90wt%, and the composite fiber has the high strength >=7.5g/d, the initial tensile resistance >=60g/d, the elongation <=20% and the heat shrinkage factor <=7%. Oriented yarns are heated and arranged, thereby obtaining a cord. When a hose is formed by using the polyester, nylon composite fiber of a core sheath, the hose has the peel resistance on the interface with the resin used for the hose at the state of the cord composed of composite fiber, the cloth woven with cord or its braid. For instance, the composition containing epoxyresin, phenolic resin, resorcin, formalin or latex as a main component may be also used for coating. |
