PURPOSE:To improve printing quality, by enabling a type bar shaft to be rotated with respect to a carriage, simplifying the driving mechanism of the type bar, thereby eliminating the blur and the like of printing. CONSTITUTION:A type bar shaft 12 is rotated by the rotation of a motor. At this time, the part between the type bar shaft 12 and a type bar 2 is slidden, and the type bar 2 is not moved. A piece 9 is advanced to the right direction by the rotation of the type bar shaft 12 by way of a pin 10, the type bar 2 is driven, and the printing is performed. The speed of the motor is controlled by a servo mechanism, and the printing pressure of the type bar can be controlled. Thus the structure of the printing mechanism is simplified, blur of the typing is suppressed, and faults are decreased. |
