PURPOSE:To control revolution accurately by using a laminated type torsional actuator conducting ultra-micro torsional rotational displacement in response to voltage given. CONSTITUTION:The laminated piezoelectric body 1 of a torsional actuator B is composed by alternately laminating piezoelectric ceramic layers 5 consisting of piezoelectric element pieces 4 and electrode plates 6. The actuator B is fixed into a cylindrical body 13 having a bottom plate 11 and a top plate 12, and an output shaft 15 is supported to the top plate 12 by a bearing 16. A rotor 17 is fastened oppositely at the inner end of the output shaft 15, and piezoelectric elements (longitudinally displaced elements) 18 are disposed onto the top face of an upper side end plate 2a. Accordingly, rotational speed can be controlled by changing both supply voltage and power frequency. |
