PURPOSE:To simplify structure and reduce cost of a power steering valve by forming a chamber on the way of a drain flow path and providing in this chamber an elastic body for receiving pressure upstream of a control valve to close the drain flow path and a path for bypassing the chamber in the drain flow path. CONSTITUTION:A plug 32 is threaded into a member 24 fixed to a housing body 22a, and provided with a drain port 37. A chamber 26 is provided between said member 24 and the body 22a, and divided into small chambers 26a, 26b by a diaphragm 29. The small chamber 26b and first and second drain flow paths 25, 27 afford communication between the drain port 37 and the control valve 36 side. Also, the small chamber 26a and a hole 28 afford communication between the upstream side of the control valve 36 and the chamber 26. Also the member 24 is formed with a bypass path 30 for affording communication between said both drain flow paths 25, 27 to ensure the minimum flow path area between both flow paths 25, 27. Further to a diaphragm 29 is secured fixedly a reinforcing member 31 which functions as a valve body of a back pressure controlling valve 38 for closing said both flow paths 25, 27. |
