PURPOSE:To obtain superior quality preservable property by emulsifying a specified discoloration preventive agent in a specified content into a layer containing a yellow coupler and at least one of its adjacent layers. CONSTITUTION:The superior image quality preservable property can be obtained by emulsifying the discoloration preventive agent represented by formula I in an amount of 10 - 200mol% of the yellow coupler into the layer containing the coupler and at least one of its adjacent layers. In formula I, each of R1 and R2 is H, alkyl, or the like; Y is a nonmetallic atomic group necessary to form a 5- or 8-membered heterocyclic ring together with the 2 N atoms except that a heterocyclic ring is formed by linking each of the 2 N atoms to a hetero atom each by the medium of alkylene groups, that the heterocyclic ring containing Y forms perhydro-1,2,4,5-tetrazine, and that 1-phenyl-3- pyrazolidone is formed by substituting the 2-position by an acyl group substituted by H, acetyl, and carboxyl groups. |
