PURPOSE:To tilt a gate for a river back and forth within an angle range of about 180 deg. by coupling the coupling projections of the upstream side and downstream side torque arms connected to the torque shaft of the gate with a boss fixed to the torque shaft. CONSTITUTION:When a gate (a) is opened or closed on the downstream side, the cylinder rod 7 of a cylinder 9 provided to a pit 6 is actuated, a coupling projection 11 provided to a torque arm 8 is coupled with the coupling projection 14 of a boss 13 integrally connected with a torque shaft 4 by a key, and the boss is turned within a given angle range. Also, when the gate (a) is opened or closed on the upstream side, the cylinder rod 7' of the cylinder 9' provided to the pit 6' is actuated, a return lever 17 is removed by pulling the torque arm 8' toward the upstream side, a claw 18 is coupled with the coupling projection 19 of the boss 20, and the boss is turned forwards within a given angle range. |
