PURPOSE:To make inexpensive mass production of the lens with a protective layer having stable quality by forming the protective layer on a film having compatibility with the lens, holding this film in place between metallic molds and injection molding the lens. CONSTITUTION:A curable coating compd. is sprayed onto the synthetic resin film 5 having the compatibility with the lens to form a curable coated film 6 and the curing treated film 7 is formed. A base film 9 is stuck via a release layer 8 thereto to obtain a laminated film 10. The above-mentioned film 10 is held in place between the metallic molds at the time of injection molding of the synthetic resin lens 12 and the film is directed toward the metallic mold 11b, then the lens is injection-molded. As a result, the film 5 having the compatibility with the resin of the lens 12 sticks to the lens and the lens 12 coated with the curable coating film 6 on the outer side thereof is obtd. The protective layer is, therefore, obtd. simultaneously with the injection molding and the production is simplified; in addition, the quality is stabilized. |
