PURPOSE:To dispense with a charge mechanism and a high speed high voltage pulse generating circuit by mounting an ink jet head for injecting magnetic ink droplets at a predetermined time interval and a magnetical deflection means for allowing only ones necessary for printing among magnetic ink droplets to go toward printing paper. CONSTITUTION:An air chamber 11d is formed to an ink jet head 11 and an electric heating element 11e is formed in the air chamber. The electric heating element 11e is heated at a predetermined time interval on the basis of the voltage pulse supplied from a continuous pulse generating circuit 15 to expand the air in the air chamber 11d and ink droplets are injected from a nozzle. A current amplifying circuit 16 amplifies the current pulse of the binary signal supplied from a recording signal generating source 14 while the predetermined timing is held between said current pulse and the continuous pulse train supplied from a continuous pulse train generating circuit 15 and supplies the same to the coil 12a of an electromagnet 12 as an exciting current. When a magnetic field is generated in a magnetic core 12b, the magnetic powder in each ink droplet is magnetized to be attracted to the magnetic core 12b and the flight route of the magnetic ink droplet is deflected upwardly and passes above a girder 13 to be adhered to printing paper P. |
