PURPOSE:To prevent rim-chafing, while fitting force is heightened without raising fitting pressure by a method in which the powder or the liquid containing the powder for preventing the rim-chafing is stuck to and over the part which is in contact with the rim in the beads part of the tire to be vulcanized and then it is vulcanized. CONSTITUTION:Powder is stuck to the beads bottom 13 brought in contact with the rim of the tire before vulcanization, and it is preferably stuck to and over the whole surface where the beads part 3 such as erected surface 19 is brought in contact with the rim and further the powder overflowed from said part may be also stuck thereto. The powder is directly stuck to clinch rubber 14 at erected surface 19, and is stuck to the rubber to be applied to a chafer 17 at the beads bottom. The powder is firmly stuck to the beads part 3 by vulcanization-molding the tire before vulcanization with a vulcanizing mold. The powder may be also stuck thereto, even when the coating with the liquid containing powder is used. When carbon, zinc white or calcium carbonate is used as the powder, the water as the liquid may be preferably added, and the powder of 5-30wt% is mixed therewith. |
