PURPOSE:To obtain a toner sharp in particle diameter distribution by dissolving tricalcium phosphate in an aqueous acidic solution, dispersing a monomer and other components to form suspension, and then, executing polymerization reaction in a state of precipitating calcium phosphate. CONSTITUTION:The hardly soluble inorganic salt of tricalcium phosphate {Ca3(PO4)2} is used as a suspension stabilizer, and first it is dissolved in the aqueous acidic solution, then, the radically polymerizable monomer, a radical polymerization initiator, and a colorant are added and dispersed to suspension by stirring the mixture, and the polymerization reaction is executed with the tricalcium phosphate precipitated, thus permitting the phosphate to be precipitated after the suspension dispersion of the monomer and the like, and accordingly, to uniformly precipitate around the dispersed oil drops, and to prevent the drops from agglomerate with each other and to grow in size, consequently, the drops in fine size to be effectively maintained, and the toner fine in particle diameter and sharp in particle diameter distribution to be obtained. |
