A process for reforming a hydrocarbon fraction substantially free of dimethylbutanes. The hydrocarbon is separated into a fraction comprising the C5- hydrocarbons and the dimethylbutanes, a light fraction excluding dimethyl butanes, and a heavy fraction. The light fraction is reformed in the presence of a monofunctional catalyst, and the heavy fraction is reformed in the presence of a bifunctional catalyst. |
