<p>A method of purifying cytochrome c peroxidase from yeast is disclosed. The method comprises the steps of: a) extracting a yeast lysate to obtain a crude protein extract comprising cytochrome c peroxidase; b) differentially precipitating the crude protein extract to obtain a precipitate comprising CCP; c) Carrying out anion exchange chromatography on precipitate obtained in b) to obtain partially pure CCP; and d) carrying out phosphate affinity chromatography, with a hydroxyapatite column, on the partially pure CCP to obtain pure CCP.</p> |
