PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic sensitive body high in sensitivity and durability by using specified titanyl phthalocyanine crystals as an electric charge generating material and a specified diphenylmethanediamine derivative as a charge transfer material. CONSTITUTION:The electrophotographic sensitive body high in sensitivity and durability can be obtained by incorporating in an electric charge generating layer the titanyl phthalocyanine crystals having characteristic diffraction lines at the Bragg angles (2theta + or - 0.2 deg.) of 12.8 deg., 13.2 deg., 15.2 deg., 18.3 deg., 22.5 deg., 25.4 deg., and 28.6 deg. in the X-ray diffraction spectra using CuKalpha as an X-ray source, and in a charge transfer layer the diphanylmethanediamine derivative represented by formula I in which each of R<1> - R<4> is lower alkyl or benzyl; each of R<5> and R<6> is H, methyl, or the like; and R<7> is 1 - 6 C alkyl, phenyl, or the like. |
