PURPOSE:To obtain the electrophotographic sensitive body having excellent sensitivity and potential stability in durable use by using a specific disazo pigment in a photosensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:The disazo pigment expressed by the formula I is incorporated into the photosensitive layer. In the formula I, R1 denotes a hydrogen atom, alkyl group, aryl group, aralkyl group, heterocyclic group which may have a substituent or halogen group; R2, R3 denote a hydrogen atom, alkyl group, aryl group, aralkyl group, heterocyclic group which may have a substituent or halogen group; A denotes a residual coupler group having a phenolic hydroxyl group. The electrophotographic sensitive body which has the practicable high sensitivity characteristic in a visible light region and has the stable potential characteristic at the time of repetitive use and is improved in a photomemory characteristic is obtd. |
