The method for setting cooking time automatically regardless of external temperature of microwave oven comprises a first process for detecting temperature (U1) of inflowing air through an intake (14A) when first stage heating is executed, a second process for setting increment ( T') low when the detected temperature (U1) is higher than referene temperature (R), a third process for setting increment ( T') high when the detected temperature is lower than the reference temperature, and a fourth process for executing first and second stage heating according to the compensated increment ( T').
