<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a proper coefficient of friction and proper water absorptivity by dispersing single fiber bundle type ceramic whiskers in matrix resin. CONSTITUTION:The single fiber bundle type ceramic whiskers are dispersed in the matrix resin. Namely, the fiber bundles dispersed in the resin such as polymethyl metacrylate(PMMA) resin, acrylonitrile-styrene(AS) resin, and acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene(ABS) resin form gaps of submicrons among fibers in the bundles and the gaps display a absorbing and discharging function for the sweat of a player. Further, the whiskers have superior mechanical characteristics, so the strength, rigidity, and hardness of the keyboard material are improved. Further, whiskers exposed on the surface give proper frictional resistance to the surface of the keyboard material to prevent a slip during performance.</p> |
