<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate capacity adjustment in a pump provided with an inlet valve having a valve seat reciprocative between a valve body and a stopper by making the position of the stopper adjustable by external operation through a collar. CONSTITUTION:The title pump comprises a piston rod 20, a rod-formed reciprocating member performing reciprocating motion accompanied by the rotation of a crankshaft in a crank case 10 as well as is provided with an inlet valve 26 including a valve body 30 provided in the way of the piston rod 20 and a delivery valve 48 provided at a delivery manifold 16 communicated with a pump chamber 33. The inlet valve 26 further comprises a valve seat 28 displaced between the valve body 30 and a stopper 38 accompanied by the reciprocating motion of the piston rod 20. In this case, a collar 40 displaced in the axial direction integrally with the stopper 38 is fitted at the piston rod 20 nearer to the tip side than the stopper 38, and an operating part (a nut) 44 for adjusting the axial position of the collar 40 is provided at the piston rod 20 piercing through a pump wall part 34 and extending outside.</p> |
