<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an oriented polyamide vessel which can stand high- temperature filling, because it has excellent gas barrier properties, hot fill resistance, drop impact resistance by molding and stretching a composition containing an amorphous polyamide and a specific aliphatic polyamide. CONSTITUTION:A polyamide composition which is composed of (A) 60 to 90 pts.wt., preferably 65 to 85 pts.wt. of an amorphous polyamide obtained from terephthalic acid and isophthalic acid, preferably at 3/7 molar ratio and (B) 40 to 10 pts.wt., preferably 35 to 15 pts.wt. of an aliphatic polyamide containing more than 40 wt.%, preferably 50 to 100wt.% of 11 or more, preferably 11 to 12 methylene chains in the alkylene chains such as nylon 11 or nylon 12 is formed and monoaxially or biaxially stretched at an area stretching ratio of 2 to 8, preferably 3 to 6 to give the subject polyamide vessel.</p> |
