PURPOSE:To reduce operator's operation by making a supplementation control means to supplement a recording sheet while turning over an original when a recording sheet is lost owing to a jam during the copying operation for the 2nd surface of the original. CONSTITUTION:When the recording sheets jams, the supplementation control means operates under the control of a 2nd surface image formation control means. An automatic original feeding part 11, therefore, turns over the original at an original mounting part 47 to form an image of the 1st surface of the original on the 1st surface of the new recording sheet. Then the automatic original feeding part 11 turns over the original again to form an image of the 2nd surface of the original on the 2nd surface of the new recording sheet. Thus, a both-surface copy corresponding to the lost image due to the jam can be supplemented. Consequently, the operator's operation is reduced. |
