<p>PURPOSE:To reduce weight and increase pressure-proof property of a spiral corrugated pipe with the pipe wall of spiral corrugated shape by providing band plates of S-shape on both walls of the pipe wall and using sinthetic resin, etc. for the jointed zone where band plates are not present. CONSTITUTION:A spiral corrugated pipe A with the pipe wall 1 of spiral corrugated shape is made by winding a synthetic resin belt body 11 of roughly channel shape spirally with both ends of its horizontally projected parts lapped with each other and joining them by fusion. Metal band plates 6 and 7 of reverse S shape are provided in the pipe wall 1 internally except for the center portions of the top 2 and bottom 5 of these plates. A synthetic resin belt body 12 of roughly U shape is wound spirally from the outside of the band plates with the horizontally projected parts lapped with each other to join them by fusion with each other. The jointed portions 21 and 51 of the top 2 and bottom 5 of the pipe wall 1, where the metal band plates 6 and 7 are not present, are formed by synthetic resin only. Thus the weight of a whole pipe is reduced and the pipe can be produced easily.</p> |
