PURPOSE:To obtain a titled device which has improved reliability of seam welding, by cooling a lower chip, jetting inert gas from an upper chip, also providing a reflection body for iradiating laser light downward, in turning member, and preventing overheat by a laser luminous flux. CONSTITUTION:On a lower chip 8 cooled from the inside by cooling water led in from a colling water feed-in pipe 10 to one end part 3a of a horizontal arm lever 3 of a machine frame 1, a member 9 to be junctioned is placed, and said member 9 to be junctioned is pressed against a receiving base part 8a of the lower chip 8 by an upper chip 12 provided on one end part 5a of a rocking lever 5 held by a supporting shaft 6 of an upper part 1a of the machine frame 1. On the other hand, laser light generated by a laser device 4 passes through said rocking lever 5, is directed downward through a reflection body 16 and a condensing lens 17, forms a focus ''0'' through reflection bodies 23, 22 provided in a turning member 21, and welds a junction part 9a, jetting inert gas from an exhaust port 14. Said turning member 21 is turned by a motor 25 through a pinion 27 and a gear 20, and moves a position of the focus ''0'' along a curve. |
