PURPOSE:To improve durability of a subtransmission by providing a bearing, which rotatably supports a direct coupled clutch, between the peripheral surface of a cylindrical connection part fitted by a spline to an output shaft and the internal peripheral surface of a housing or its integrally formed member supporting the output shaft. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical connecting member 152 (connection part), fitted by a spline to an output shaft 34 (input shaft) fixedly provided in the internal peripheral part of a cylinder main unit 150, is rotatably supported through a bearing 160 provided between the peripheral surface of the cylindrical connection part and the internal peripheral surface of a sleeve 158 integrally formed with a housing 74. Consequently, spline fitting of the member 152 to the shaft 34 has a large clearance as compared with the ordinary spline fitting. While a sun gear 56 adjacent to the member 152 is concentrically fitted to this member 152 by protrusions 170, 172 and similarly supported, so that even spline fitting of the gear 56 to the shaft 34 has a large clearance. Accordingly, no deflection of the center is generated in the member 152, main unit 150 and the gear 56 or the like, and durability is improved of a subtransmission 14. |
