PURPOSE:To make it possible to monitor an ON-OFF state of light by inputting the light as a light signal to an apparatus through an optical fiber assembly having an attachment which can be fixed simply. CONSTITUTION:A monitoring apparatus is composed of a device 1, a light- emitting body 2 on an operation panel of a measuring device and an optical fiber assembly 7 for connecting these devices. A detecting circuit 9 detects an ON-OFF state of light inputted by the optical fiber assembly 7 and subjects it to amplification and wave-shaping to obtain a signal that a microcomputer 8 can recognize. Concretely, informations on the states of operations of various systems and the measuring device are sent to the device 1 through the optical fiber assembly 7 as ON-OFF signals of light of the light-emitting body 2, such as a lamp or a light-emitting diode, which is provided for indicating the states of operations on the operation panel thereof. In the device 1, the time when the ON-OFF state changes is stored in a memory 11, and by operating a data output switch 16 as occasion demands, it can be printed out 12 and outputted as time data simultaneously to an external device. |
