摘要 <p>PURPOSE: To provide a composite coil winding bobbin having such a characteristic that can pass a heat aging test, a low-temperature impact test, cycle tests for moisture and vibration as specified in the UL standard 1446 by forming the bobbin of a fiber-reinforced resin material. CONSTITUTION: A composite coil bobbin has a structure of a fiber-reinforced resin matrix material, having high structural stability in the class of >200 deg.C specified by the UL standard 1446 and a vertical through passage 10a. The outer peripheral surface 10c of the structure constitutes the supporting body of a wire coil 12 wound around the surface 10a. A thermoplastic or thermosetting resin, such as polyethylene terephthalate, 6,6-nylon, or electrical epoxy, for electrical use, etc., having an electrical insulating property is preferably for the material used as the resin matrix. The selected resin is reinforced with continuous long fibers, such as the glass fibers or aramid fibers, etc., or chopped or randomly crushed discontinuous fibers having lengths of >=1/4 inch.</p>
