PURPOSE:To adjust image formation conditions automatically by providing a lens unit with a display part which displays its characteristics, and reading the information of the display part by the exposing part of an optical system and controlling the image formation conditions. CONSTITUTION:This device has the exposing part which irradiates a document with light while moving along an original platen and the lens unit which projects an original image on a photosensitive body. This device is equipped with the display part 35 which is provided to the lens unit to display its characteristics and a reader 33 which reads the information of the display part while moving together with the exposing part and outputs the information to an image formation condition control means 36. The characteristics of the lens unit are accurately read according to the display part 35. Consequently, the image formation conditions are adjusted finely and automatically according to the information outputted from the read part 33 to an image formation condition control means 36. |
