PURPOSE:To eliminate a misregister and to curtail the man/hour in management by holding a kind table relating each item of the product specification and the kind in each item thereof from the specification of a product and an existing number table grasping the number of existing products by the kind of each item thereof by a stock control unit. CONSTITUTION:The discrimination symbol 3 given to the vehicle 2 flowed in a production line is read by a reading means 1, controller 5 finds the specification of the vehicle 2 by inquiring to a host computor 6 based on the symbol 3 and whether the kind of each item of this specification is new or not is decided from the specification thereof. In case of being decided as a new kind, the symbol of the new kind thereof is automatically registered on the kind table. The discrimination symbol 3 of the vehicle 2 is read by a reading means 4 and in case of the number of existing products on the production line corresponding to the kind symbol registered already becoming zero, this kind symbol is automatically removed from the kind table. |
