<p>PURPOSE:To prevent damage to a cassette by providing engaging members capable of being constantly engaged with cassette loading parts on both end parts of the cassette, and releasing the engaging members from the loading parts with the cassette being held. CONSTITUTION:Engaging members 71 are provided vertically near the insertion ports of casstte loading parts on both sides 6a, 6b of a sheet supply cassette 6, and mating engaging members 72 with which the engaging members 71 can be engaged are provided. The lower end parts 71a of the engaging members 71 are provided so that they may be turned about axes 75 respectively, and in order to release the engagement of the engaging members 71 with the mating engaging members 72, engagement releasing members 73 constantly keeping the engaging condition by means of springs 74 are pressed against the springs 74. During releasing of the engagement, the engagement is released by pressing the releasing members 73 through through holes 65 by fingers with end parts of the cassette 6 being held by both hands. Since the cassette 6 must be certainly held by both hands, dropping of the cassette is thus eliminated and damage to the cassette can be prevented.</p> |
