PURPOSE:To largely reduce labor and time of forming an original plate without necessity of a skilled person for forming an original picture by forming a design to be inlaid by original plate lithographic means such as an XY block etc., controlled only on a surface layer by a computer which stores image data. CONSTITUTION:An original plate 2 is formed by original plate lithographic means controlled by a computer which stores a design to be inlaid, ultraviolet ray curable resin 4 is then irradiated with an ultraviolet ray which penetrates the plate 2 to form a preservation mold M cured at the part of the design to be inlaid. Thereafter, a consumable mold W of plastic material soluble in water soluble agent or heat is formed by using the mold M, and forms 10 are formed by using the mold W. A base material 11 to be cured in the forms 10 is poured in the forms 10, cured, the mold W is removed from the surface of a block generated by the curing of the material 11, a design is formed on the surface, a chromatic material having different color from that of the material 11 is filled in the design, cured, and an inlaid design is generated by whetting. |
