摘要 PURPOSE:To efficiently replenish a molten carbonate electrolyte to electrolyte plates during operation by providing electrolyte feed pipes 4 made of multiple insulated pipes and having many fine holes on pipe side faces vertically through a cell main body on the fuel cell main body. CONSTITUTION:An electrolyte feed pipe 4 is constituted of a corrosion-resistant pipe 9 and an insulator 8 and has fine hole sections 10 for feeding an electrolyte. A carbonate electrolyte 7 is fed to electrolyte feed pipes 4 from the outside of a cell even during the power generation of the cell, thus the electrolyte 7 is fed to electrolyte plates 2 through the fine hole sections 10 of the pipes. Ceramic with high electric insulation is sintered on the outer faces of titanium or stainless metal pipes, and an adequate quantity of the electrolyte can be replenished to the electrolyte plates 2 through the electrode feed pipes 4 with many fine holes in the cell. The cell performance is recovered, and the cell can be operation with the required performance over a long period.
