PURPOSE:To reduce the input load to a tie rod by inclining the king-pin axis of a rear wheel so as to be farther away from the central surface of a tire as it goes upwards, and also fitting a shock absorber or the like in a specified position of a wheel support. CONSTITUTION:In a rear wheel, for example, the right side rear wheel 11R of a rear wheel steering vehicle, a wheel support 40 provided with a knuckle arm 14R, which is connected to a tie rod 13R projected toward the rear of the vehicle body via a ball joint 50, is supported by both an upper arm 41 and a lower arm 42 via ball joints 43, 44 respectively. In this case, the king-pin axis KP connecting the centers of respective ball joints 43, 44 is arranged on the inner side of the vehicle body than the central surface of the tire, and also is inclined so as to be farther away from the central surface of the tire as it goes upwards. And the lower end part of a guide shaft 47 for a coil spring 46 being a shock absorber is pivotally fitted to the wheel support 40 in the rear of the king-pin axis KP. |
