<p>PURPOSE:To secure precision of relative positions of insulator fitted grooves in an electrode portion and an outer shell portion by cutting off a material at a right angle to the face of a circle into an inside portion and an outside portion to manufacture the electrode portion and the outer shell portion combined in a pair. CONSTITUTION:On the cross section of a cylindrically machined material 1 which has the same minor dia. as an electrode portion, a circle 11 is drawn by defining the axis of the material 1 as a center and a size equal to the sum of the major dia. size of the electrode portion and the major dia. size of a bar insulator as a dia., and holes 12 are made which have individual centers located on the circle 11 and into which the bar insulator perpendicular to the face of the circle 11 is closely inserted. A cut-off inside portion 1-1 has the outer periphery chipped off into preset dimensions for manufacture of an electrode portion 2 and an outside portion 1-2 has the inner periphery chipped off into preset dimensions for manufacture of an outer shell portion 3. Then relative positions is adjusted by alignment with a mark 13 to insert the bar insulator into a space formed corresponding to the hole 11 and to closely fit the same to grooves in the outer periphery of the electrode portion 2 and to grooves in the inner periphery of the outer shell portion 3 for fixing the electrode portion 2. The grooves in the electrode portion 2 and the outer shell portion 3 thus come to close contact with the bar insulator which is sandwiched between them to provide groove heat radiation effect.</p> |
