PURPOSE:To enhance riding comfortableness without impairing steering stability by inclining the cords of a carcass so as to be nearly at an angle of 90 deg. to the circumferential direction of a tire in the region between both end parts of the belt, and to be at an angle of 50 deg. to 90 deg. in the other regions respectively. CONSTITUTION:A tire 1 is provided with carcasses 6 each of which is turned up at the bead core 5 of a bead part 4 via the side wall part 3 extending from each side of the tread part 2 toward the inside in the radial direction. And on the outside of the carcass 6 in the radial direction, and in the interior of the tread part 2, a belt 7 consisting of two plies - an inner layer 7a and an outer layer 7b - is provided. In this case, in the carcass 6, the angle alpha of the cord between end parts (a) and (a) in the axial direction of the tire being the maximum width of the belt 7 and in the region B positioned inside and outside in its radial direction to the circumferential direction of the tire 1 is set to be nearly at an angle of 90 deg.. And the angle beta of the cord in the region S extending from the end part (a) to the bead part 4 to the circumferential direction of the tire 1 is set to be at an angle of 50 deg. to 90 deg.. |
