PURPOSE: To enhance dispersibility to dye acceptor by imparting a fluorescent diphenylpyrazoline compound dispersed in a polymeric binder to one side of a support and a slipping layer comprising a lubricant to the other side thereof thereby forming a donor element for thermal transfer. CONSTITUTION: A layer containing a fluorescent diphenylpyrazoline compound dispersed in a polymeric binder is formed on one side of a support, e.g. polyester, polyamide, glassine paper or condenser paper. A slipping layer comprising a lubricant, e.g. surfactant, liquid lubricant or solid lubricant, is provided on the other side of the support thus forming a donor element for thermal transfer. The polymeric binder for dispersing a fluorescent compound includes cellulose acetate hydrodiene phthalate and the binder is applied by 0.1-5 g/m<2> . The lubricant is normally added by 0.001-2 g/m<2> to the slipping layer. |
