PURPOSE:To obtain a conducting transfer type ink recording medium which can input a print at a high speed with high resolution by composing an anisotropically conductive layer of a cylindrical alumina base having fine through holes formed by an anodizing method, and conductive materials sealed in the holes. CONSTITUTION:An anisotropically conductive layer 11 is composed of a cylindrical alumina base 16 having fine through holes each having at most 50mum of diameter, formed by an anodizing method, and conductive materials 17 sealed in the holes in such a manner that the conductivity in its thicknesswise direction is set to 10 times as large as that of its planar direction. An image signal current from a pattern electrode 37 flows to an anisotropically conductive layer 31 to generate heat at a heat generating resistor layer 32, and arrives at a return electrode circuit through a conductive layer 33. Since the layer 32 is melted corresponding to the current and transferred to a transfer material, a print image having no extension of a dot is formed. |
