<p>PURPOSE:To improve the relative position accuracy of a magnetic head and a magnetic tape by constituting a guide part of the lower end face of the magnetic tape in a part of a disk supporting body. CONSTITUTION:The lower end part 52c of a magnetic tape guide body 52 of a tape guide 51 also comes into contact with a part of a magnetic tape lower end face guide part 50c. In this state, when the tape guide 51 turns, the lower end part 5c always turns, while being brought to sliding guide by the magnetic tape lower end face guide part 50c. Accordingly, as for a magnetic tape 13, the lower end face 13b and the reverse side of the tape are brought to running control by the magnetic tape lower end face guide part 50c of a disk supporting body 50, and a plane part 52a of the magnetic tape guide body 52, respectively. In such a way, relative position of the magnetic head and the magnetic tape is held with high accuracy and its possible to cope with high density recording, as well.</p> |
