PURPOSE:To obtain a device which can automatically and precisely stabilize a laser beam in intensity by a method wherein a supersonic modulator is provided to modulate a primary light, and the primary light outputted from the modulator is divided into two, where one of the divided primary light is sent to a measuring device and the intensity of the other is detected by a photodetector, and a supersonic power is controlled by a detected signal. CONSTITUTION:A laser beam L from a laser source 1 is made to be incident on a supersonic modulator at a Bragg single theta, which is separated into a zero- order light L0 and a first-order light L1. The zero-order light L0 is cut out as it is disused, and the first-order light L1 is made to travel through a pin hole 12 to remove noises and divided through a half mirror 13. A laser beam LS, one of the divided first-order light L1, is used in a measuring device. The other of the divided first-order light L1 is detected by a photodetector 14, the photodetector 14 outputs a detected signal corresponding to its intensity, the detected signal is inputted into a controller 15, a control signal outputted from the controller 15 is given to a driver 16, and a power P, which is applied to the supersonic modulator through a transducer 11a, is controlled by the driver 16. |
