In order to utilize abundant subproducts originating from cork-oak cultivation work and pruning, the next stage is chipping of the subproduct which, after grinding and selection by screening of a fraction with a preestablished particle size, is subjected to a milling operation and to a further screening with selection of at least two fractions, an upper and another, lower fraction, with preestablished particle sizes. Next, there is preparation of the cork and the wood from the selected fraction or fractions in a settling basin. Lastly, a stage of recovery of the settling liquid is included, for example using centrifugation, pressing or natural draining.
