The device measures the 3 components of the magnetic field and comprises 3 elementary magnetoresistive measuring probes 2 fixed to the three faces of a pyramid 1 whose lines of greatest slope descending from the common point of the sides form an angle of 90 DEG between them in pairs, and an induction coil 6 placed in a plane perpendicular to the height of the pyramid. The 3 probes are connected to the connecting circuit 3. The sensor is calibrated by generating a known field produced by a known current flowing in the coil 6 and by the simultaneous measurement of the effect produced at the terminals of the magnetoresistive measuring elements 2. The device according to the invention is intended for use in any situation where a knowledge of the variations of the 3 components of the local magnetic field is useful. It can be used particularly as a magnetic field sensor for igniters of anti-vehicle land mines or sea mines, igniters of missiles or targeted effect moving charges. <IMAGE>
