PURPOSE:To prevent fogging by subjecting the recording material to a heat development to deposit the silver in an exposed part in a heat development type dry process silver salt compsn. and simultaneously to deposit the silver in an unexposed part and the silver which does not contribute to the image of the exposed part on the surface layer of the heat development type dry process silver salt compsn. CONSTITUTION:The heat development type dry process silver salt material is subjected to the heat development, by which the silver in the exposed part is deposited in the heat development type dry process silver salt compsn. The silver in the unexposed part and the silver which does not contribute to the image of the exposed part are simultaneously deposited on the surface of the heat development type dry process silver salt compsn. Namely, latent image nuclei are formed in the heat development type dry process silver salt compsn. in the exposed part by subjecting the material to the heat development and, therefore, the silver is gathered in the inside to form the image. On the other hand, the silver which does not contribute to the image formation in the non-exposed part or the like is positively deposited on the surface by the catalyst nuclei of the surface layer and the silver deposited on the surface is removed, by which the fixed silver image is formed. The fogging is prevented in this way. |
