PURPOSE:To confirm overlapping condition of each register mark image and a reference mark image, by a method wherein register mark images outputted from each printing unit and displayed on a CRT display device are switched, and are sequentially compared with a reference mark. CONSTITUTION:Images of register marks based on image signals from a reference printing unit are constantly displayed on the CRT display device 15 as reference marks m1', M2', which the image signals from the other printing units are appropriately switched, and the images of the register marks are displayed as adjusting marks m1, m2. Accordingly, it can be confirmed that the printing plate is registered when both of the marks overlap perfectly on each other and that the printing plate is not registered when the marks are staggered from each other. |
