The invention relates to underwater lighting devices. A device according to the invention comprises a submerged light 1, which is supported by two tabs 13 fixed to the end of a rigid vertical arm 11. The upper end of the arm 11 carries two journals 12b which are engaged into two out-of-round holes 9b pierced in two flanges of a fixing ferrule 5. When the two journals 12b rest on the lower end of the out-of-round holes, the lower end of the arm 11 is engaged behind a locking tab 17. When the two journals 12b are situated at the upper ends of the out-of-round holes 9b, the arm 11 can pivot about the journals in order to bring the light out of the water. One application is the night-time illumination of the quays or the ramps of a marina. <IMAGE>
