A shading device comprises a plurality of mutually parallel, inclined shading plates (50) disposed on a supporting framework. Every shading plate (50) has solar cells in its upper surface area (51) and has alabaster glass translucency (4) or is provided with mirrors (3) in its lower surface area. The lower side (2) of the shading plates (50) is of diffusely reflecting construction. The shading device prevents the incidence of direct sunlight into the areas disposed beneath it and makes a gain in current possible. <IMAGE> |
